I went to buy an alternator for my 99 2.3 accord, and they sold me a 94-97 accord alternator and they changed the connector part and the cover of another honda alternator, the 2.2 honda alternators are the same as 80A today I will assemble it myself and see how it goes. I had problems for a long time with low voltage in my alternator and until my battery was damaged.

You can also throw a 5 inch backing plate on it!

<<<IF YOU PLAN TO ACTUALLY DO THIS READ THIS FIRST >>> There's a metal vacuum line that leads to the idle air control valve, and it's attached to the top of the rail on the passenger side. It's got a sheet metal mount that's crimped onto it, and the mount is attached to the fuel rail with a 10 mm bolt on the back of the rail. I just used a combination wrench to remove that bolt...not sure if a socket would have enough room between the head of the bolt and the sheet metal mount. One you've detached that line from the rail you can wiggle the rail around and get it out. You might have to remove that line entirely...I didn't, and I got all of my injectors out intact, but it does force you to do a lot of lateral movement of the rail towards the driver's side in order to get it out from under the line, which tilts all of the injectors in that direction before the rail finally is out from under the vacuum line, and possibly that could damage them. I probably just got lucky. EDIT: Yeah, definitely just take it out. Here's a link to another 2001 Accord injector replacement video: ua-cam.com/video/MLmy9W--8fA/v-deo.html Go to nine minutes and 21 seconds and watch it from that point to nine minutes and fifty seconds. You'll see how that guy dealt with it, plus get a clear view of what I'm talking about. He just left the clamp on the rail and removed the vacuum line at both ends, plus he completely removed the rail from the engine. You can get a good look at the line, the place where it's attached to the rail, and the bolt. BULLET SOLANO NEVER SHOWS THIS STEP AT ALL IN THIS VIDEO, (in fact there's a skip at 5:28 where he must have done it ...you can see where the passenger side end of the rail appears to be hung up, then there's a jump in the video and he's pulling it free), BUT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO MOVE THE RAIL UNTIL YOU'VE DEALT WITH THIS. No disrespect to Bullet Solano, by the way...other than this omission this is an excellent video.

I have a brand new 2024 rav that had the roof replaced this past winter. I just noticed this leaking happening in the front and back passenger side and got super frustrated after all I’ve been thru with this car, already having to bring it back after the repair. Thank god for your video, this seems like an easy (enough) fix relatively speaking! Ugh I’m so relieved. Fingers crossed 🤞
